Our office is located in the heart of a college town. With Penn State Law School not far away, we jump on the opportunity to bring in law students who join our team temporarily and work with as much passion and determination as the rest of us. They only stay with us a for a short while to gain experience before graduating and entering the work force full-time, however, they play an important role in Masorti Law Group’s success. Ashley Clasen

Ashley Clasen

Biography:

I was born and raised in Shoreham, New York. While attending East Carolina University on an athletic scholarship, I became the captain of the Track and Field program, a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, the Treasurer of the Pre-Law Society, and I had the opportunity to intern for the District Attorney’s Office.

I decided to return to my northern roots in order to pursue my legal education. I am now entering my second year as a law student at the Penn State University Law School in University Park. In addition to working at the Masorti Law Group, I am the secretariat of the Agriculture Law Society as well as a member of the Constitutional Law Society and the legal fraternities Phi Alpha Delta and Phi Delta Phi. Outside of the legal field, I enjoy spending my time in the gym as I am training to be a competitive weight lifter.

I have a strong desire to serve my country post graduation as a Judge Advocate General, with a long-term goal of practicing Agriculture and Food Law. I have found the skillful and compassionate attorneys of Masorti Law Group a great fit to provide me with the experience and insight necessary to reach that goal.

Biography:

I grew up in Westwood, New Jersey before attending college at Stockton University. I am now entering my second year at Penn State Law here in State College where I am President of the Women’s Law Caucus and a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. In addition to working at Masorti Law Group, I work part time for LexisNexis, a legal research company.

Here, at Masorti Law Group, I am gaining the invaluable experience that I will need to someday enter the criminal law field.

Christopher Dempsey

Biography:

I am from Annapolis, Maryland, where I grew up just a short distance from the Maryland state capitol and Naval Academy. After attending Louisiana State University on scholarship, I decided to dedicate my legal education and practice to this part of the country. I am now in my second year as a law student at the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in University Park. In addition to being involved with the Masorti Law Group, I am an associate editor of the Penn State Law Review as well as an advocate on the National Environmental Law Moot Court Team. Outside of law and law school related activities, I enjoy spending my time outdoors or traveling the country.

I have a strong desire to become the best criminal attorney I can be and I have found the skillful and compassionate attorneys of Masorti Law Group a great fit to provide me with the experience and insight necessary to get there.

Chris Renaud

Biography:

I was born and raised in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Following my graduation from Bucknell University in 2013, I served as Director of Planning & Development for the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation. My work involved strategic community planning, organizational and municipal restructuring, and public-private partnerships. I am now a second-year law student at Penn State Law and an Associate Editor of the Penn State Law Review.

I began my work as a Law Clerk with Masorti Law Group in March 2015 and immediately became the firm’s Expungement Coordinator. In addition to expungements, I have assisted in a wide range of criminal cases.
