I am originally from Dayton, Ohio, but I have lived in Centre County with my husband and law partner, Philip Masorti, for over 20 years. I have three children, second grade through high school.
Since I began practicing law in 1996, I have represented clients in divorce, custody, support, adoption, paternity, PFA’s and many of the other complicated issues that come up when people stop getting along.
I’m very thankful that you were there for me, Marie.
I am a pragmatic and creative problem-solving attorney. Divorce and custody clients are often anxious and worried because they are dealing with emotionally charged issues of the utmost importance in their lives. My goal is to provide the highest quality legal representation and to obtain the best possible outcome – whether it is the best financial settlement or gaining more time with your children – all while minimizing the emotional toll on my clients and their families.
I believe knowledge is power. Clients need to know how the process works and the general time-frame and expenses involved in their case. I advise each client regarding the advantages and disadvantages of settlement verses litigation. I believe it is important for clients to understand the law as it pertains to their specific case.
